The Universe of John Williams – A multimedia tribute to the legendary composer again in Prague!
After last year’s success, “The Universe of John Williams” returns to the stage, an epic multimedia concert show that pays tribute to the work of the most famous film composer of all time. This world tribute concert The Universe of John Williams will be performed on December 29, 2025 at the O2 universum in Prague.
Audiences can look forward to the unforgettable music of John Williams, the winner of five Oscars, the author of the music for the films Star Wars, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, E.T., Superman, Jaws, Schindler’s List and many others.
Multimedia show
The concert will offer a top-notch musical experience performed by The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and a large choir, complemented by an impressive visual spectacle. During the evening, not only film sequences and visual animations will be projected on large screens, but also live footage of the orchestra from three cameras.
Famous British conductor Pete Harrison
The entire evening will once again be conducted by charismatic conductor Pete Harrison, who will also add personal commentary and behind-the-scenes insights to the concert – for example, why John Williams had doubts about his abilities when composing the music for Schindler’s List, how he almost didn’t finish the music for the film Home Alone, or how the unmistakable Indiana Jones fanfare was created.
Darth Vader on stage
The exact order of the songs is still being agreed upon with the conductor, so the program will definitely not be the same as last year’s show, but it is already clear that one of the most anticipated moments of last year’s show will be repeated – the arrival of Darth Vader on stage.
At the end of the program, a magical melody from the film Home Alone will also be heard, which will create a gentle Christmas atmosphere and stylishly close a musically unforgettable film evening.
